Career planning can include many things beyond looking for a job:
identifying the right organizations, networks and advice-givers
appropriate to your interests, getting exposure through volunteer work
and student groups, and pursuing further education. The following
offsite career resources cover a span of information from job databases

Organization for students interested in government and politics. Site

A student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Assist by Students (TABS)
Connects nonprofit organizations and schools with Stanford students who
have technology skills (e.g. web design) for service projects. Good way

Association (UPA)
Works closely with The Dualist, Stanford's undergraduate philosophy

annual CHI conference is the most important gathering for

Promotes scientific interchange between researchers in different

Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR)
